The start of Ringside Design

Hi there!

My name is Gracie, owner of Ringside Design, Gracie's Custom Creations and Twisted Switch.

When I started my first business at 19 years old, almost 4 years ago, I would have never thought I would be writing this today. I was a rising sophomore at Virginia Tech majoring in Animal and Poultry Sciences with every intention of becoming a middle school Ag Teacher.

I have always loved to craft, create, and make in every way imaginable. At that point is when I got my first vinyl cutter. Which we now hardly use, but we have another use for that coming later. I worked for our state youth livestock specialist assisting in a variety of youth and adult outreach events and slowly thought about becoming an extension agent, so I could have the fun of having  an FFA program, with the freedom of kids of all ages.

Working for the state that is when I got assigned with ordering awards. That is thus when I was given my first opportunity of making livestock awards and fell in love.

While I still make awards and love it, I wanted to reach more people and have a one stop shop all things show and custom items, that was easier to order than waiting on a proof and never feeling like I can show our options in a convenient manor.  Thus the creation of Ringside Design. A custom boutique that offers something for everyone. I get the best of both worlds. I still get to be involved with shows, chapters, and clubs, but I get to reach more people and give back more to the organizations that shaped me into who I am today.
